The San Siro is close to being sold out for the Champions League second leg semifinal when Inter Milan host AC Milan.

This according to a statement by Inter Milan on the club’s official homepage, revealing that almost all tickets available for the return leg have been sold out.

The statement reads that the interest to buy tickets for the Milan Derby clash is unlike anything seen before in the club’s recent history.

The statement then continues adding that today 10th of May at 14.30 CET until all tickets have been sold out, remaining tickets go live for those with Siamo Noi cards.

Furthermore, the statement adds that card holders are limited to only purchasing a maximum of two tickets per person.

The match is scheduled for a 21.00 CET kick-off next Tuesday 16th of May 2023 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan’s San Siro district.

San Siro Sold Out Twice

The Stadio Giuseppe Meazza will be sold out on both occasions, with tonight’s match where AC Milan are the home team having been sold out for weeks.

AC Milan are set to set a new Match Day ticket revenue record for tonight’s Champions League semifinal clash against Inter Milan.

However, the Nerazzurri have set higher ticket prices, hence, they will likely register a new Italian record possibly even breaking the €10 million mark for ticket revenue earned from just one match.

The Rossoneri set a new Italian record in their Champions League Round of last 16 home game against Tottenham Hotspur, netting just over €9.1 million in ticket sales.

That record looks to be broken by Milan tonight only for the Nerazzurri to break it in less than a week’s time in the second leg.

AC Milan host Inter Milan in the first leg of the Semifinal of the Champions League tonight, Wednesday the 10th of May, with kick-off scheduled at 21.00 CET.
