Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to completely overhaul the starting eleven for this evening’s Serie A match against Sassuolo.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that defender Danilo D’Ambrosio and wingback Raoul Bellanova will be among a whopping eight changes made to the lineup for the Serie A encounter.

Inzaghi has not been afraid to use his entire squad in recent weeks.

The Nerazzurri have faced a punishing fixture schedule as they play in three competitions. Accordingly, Inzaghi has freshened up his team from match to match.

This will be the case against Sassuolo this evening as well.

Inzaghi put out his strongest eleven for the first leg of the Milan derby Champions League semifinal on Wednesday. Compared to that match, the coach will make more changes than he sticks with players in the lineup against the Neroverdi.

Wholesale Changes To Inter Milan Starting XI Vs Sassuolo

The changes will begin in goal, where Inter captain Samir Handanovic is expected to replace Andre Onana.

At the other end of the pitch, there will be a complete rotation of the strikers. Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko will drop out of the lineup. Romelu Lukaku and Joaquin Correa will start instead, the report concludes.

Meanwhile, in midfield Marcelo Brozovic and Roberto Gagliardini will replace Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu.

One of the more eye-catching changes to the lineup could come on the right flank. Both Matteo Darmian and Denzel Dumfries will start the match on the bench, the report adds.

Instead, the Gazzetta predicts that wingback Raoul Bellanova will start. The 22-year-old has not featured prominently since joining on loan from Cagliari last summer.

However, he could be given his chance tonight from start against Sassuolo.

The Gazzetta’s complete predicted starting eleven is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Acerbi; Bellanova, Gagliardini, Brozovic, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Lukaku, Correa.
