Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku expects the Nerazzurri to give their all over the rest of the season.

Speaking to InterTV after the Nerazzurri’s Serie A win over Sassuolo, via FCInterNews, the Belgian gave his reaction.

Inter got a massive win against Sassuolo this evening.

Playing with a heavily-rotated starting eleven, the Nerazzurri saw out a 4-2 win. It was not a straightforward match, as the Nerazzurri went 3-0 up before seeing the scoreline become 3-2.

However, striker Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku scored a fourth to make sure the result was secure.

The Belgian had also scored the Nerazzurri’s opener, a stunning long range effort after rolling Neroverdi defender Luan Tressoldi.

Now, Inter have taken advantage of stumbles by Lazio and AC Milan. The Nerazzurri overtake the former into third place, and extend their lead over the latter to five points.

Qualification for next season’s Champions League is not wrapped up by any means. Still, Inter have certainly taken a big step in that direction.

Over the next few weeks, the Nerazzurri will have everything to play for, including two trophies – the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.
