Former Inter Milan defender Daniele Adani feels that the Nerazzurri are heading into their Champions League final clash with Man City in the very best of form.
Speaking on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel, via FCInter1908, the former defender gave his thoughts on the Nerazzurri’s season finale.
Inter have only a few matches left before their season is done.
In the next five matches, there are still three major objectives to play for.
Top four in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the Champions League are all up for grabs.
The Nerazzurri will need to be at their best if they are to make good on the promise these matches represent. Fortunately, in the eyes of Adani, they are just that.
The former defender is of the view that this is the very best version of Inter.
There is no doubt that the Nerazzurri have had some major wobbles over the course of the season. However, in the last few weeks Simone Inzaghi’s men have been on a brilliant winning run.
That run has carried Inter back into the Serie A top four, and to to the finals of the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.
Adani feels that it could well carry them just a bit further.

“Inter arrive at this end of the season in their best moment of form,” Adani argued.
“In terms of creating things, since there isn’t a real creator in the team, they find other ways of creating chances,” he noted.
“They’re a strong team and it shows.”
“They reached the Champions League final deservedly,” the former defender argued.
“Once they got past the match away in Porto, which they approached a bit like Roma, they got back to their best and found their style of play again.”
