Former Nerazurri defender Daniele Adani feels that Man City are the strongest team in world football, but that Inter Milan could hardly be in better form heading into the Champions League final next month.

Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Adani gave his thoughts ahead of the upcoming final.

Inter will certainly have their hands full in Istanbul on June 10.

The Nerazzurri come up against a Manchester City team who have looked almost impossible to beat at times.

Pep Guardiola’s men are technically, physically, and tactically capable of dominating matches all over the pitch, and for ninety minutes.

Moreover, the Cityzens can boast Europe’s most lethal striker in the form of Erling Haaland.

Accordingly, Inter could feel that their task is next to impossible in next month’s final.

However, on the other side, the Nerazzurri have seemingly found another gear over the past few weeks.

Following a difficult period in which Inter’s form had dipped into a genuine crisis, the performances have really gone up a level. Inter have made it into European club football’s biggest match, and deservedly.

Accordingly, if there is going to be any time that Inter face the Cityzens, they could be glad that it’s now.

Adani: Man City Imperious, But Inter Milan Riding A Wave Of Form

Former Inter defender Adani gave his thoughts ahead of next month’s final.

“In the Champions League, Inter will be up against the strongest team in the world,” he said. “Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.”

“However, they have the means to come up with a great performance,” he argued. “And they’re in great condition at the moment.”

“The Nerazzurri start as underdogs, but they have the strongest squad in the league along with Juve.”

“Moreover, right now Inzaghi is arriving at it in the best period of form over the course of the last two years.”
