Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana believes that the Nerazzurri will try and win everything they can without any fear.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia after yesterday evening’s Serie A win over Atalanta, via FCInterNews, the 27-year-old thanked coach Simone Inzaghi for his work this season.

Inter have now accomplished one of their central goals for the current season.

The Nerazzurri may have been disappointed to be out of the race for the Serie A title months ago. However, reaching the top four in the league table was always the truly vital objective.

Champions League qualification is not only vital in terms of the prestige it represents.

Playing in Europe’s top club competition is also necessary for Inter to make up the financial margins.

Only last month, a top four spot looked very much in doubt for Inter. However, the past few weeks have seen the Nerazzurri claw back their spot.

Yesterday’s 3-2 win over Atalanta made absolutely certain of it.

Inter Milan Keeper Andre Onana: No Fear Ahead Of UCL Final

Now, the Champions League final awaits Inter.

There will be one more Serie A match to go, away to Torino next weekend.

However, the pressure is all off that match now, in truth.

Instead, the Nerazzurri can start to keep one eye or even more on Istanbul, where Manchester City will be waiting for them.

It promises to be perhaps Inter’s most formidable challenge of the season. Pep Guardiola’s Cityzens are arguably in an entirely different universe of quality from any team that the Nerazzurri have faced this season.

However, Inter have gotten where they have by facing matches without fear.

For his part, Onana expects them to keep doing the same.

“I can’t say anything but thanks to Inzaghi for giving me the chance to play for Inter,” Onana said.

“Being here is a source of pride for me, and I hope that we can go on and win everything,” the Cameroonian added. “Without any fear, as I always say.”
