The squads of both Inter Milan and Argentina were well-represented at the wedding of Nerazzurri striker Lautaro Martinez yesterday.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that players from both the Nerazzurri and the Albiceleste were out in full force to help the 25-year-old mark his marriage to partner Agustina Gandolfo.

Yesterday evening, Martinez and Gandolfo held their religious wedding ceremony. This was followed by a reception party.

The pair had already made their union official with the Municipality of Milan on May 12.

However, yesterday’s ceremony was meant to invite friends to celebrate the marriage. The ceremony and reception took place in what is something of a lull after Inter and Martinez’s intensely packed fixture list in recent weeks.

Inter & Argentina Both Represented At Wedding Of Lautaro Martinez

Unsurprisingly, many of those present were friends of Martinez from the world of football.

Among these were the 25-year-old striker’s club teammates. Romelu Lukaku in particular enjoyed himself, with the Belgian being not only Martinez’s strike partner but also a close personal friend of the Argentine.

Meanwhile, a number of Argentine international teammates of the Inter striker were also in attendance.

Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez, Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez, Brighton and Hove Albion’s Alexis Mac Allister, Fiorentina’s Nico Gonzalez, and Atalanta’s Juan Musso all attended, according to Tuttosport.

Meanwhile, former Inter and current Paris Saint-Germain wingback Achraf Hakimi was also in attendance.

According to Tuttosport, around 150 guests were present at the ceremony in total.

The newspaper report that the celebration after the ceremony lasted quite late into the night. The party wrapped up at around four in the morning.

Inter’s squad will certainly have to get right back to a more disciplined schedule soon. The Champions League final against Manchester City is looming just around the horizon.

However, for an evening, the Nerazzurri were able to take time off and enjoy themselves.
