Inter Milan could face Bayern Munich, Man City, or Atletico Madrid in friendly matches during their preseason tour of Japan.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the trio are among the possible friendly opponents for the Nerazzurri during their preseason given that they are also planning to tour Japan over the summer.

Inter’s preseason is starting to take shape.

Currently, the Nerazzurri are still in the swing of things with this season. Even though there are only two matches left to go, one is the massively important Champions League final against Manchester City next month in Istanbul.

However, once the Nerazzurri’s season is over, they will look to start preparing for next campaign in the best way possible.

As part of the club’s outreach to a global audience to increase their brand, they will use the preseason as an opportunity to play in front of Inter fans who do not usually get the chance to see the team play live.

The club make the announcement that they will be in Japan, where they will play a number of friendlies.

Inter Could Face Bayern Munich, Man City & Atletico Madrid While In Japan

The Nerazzurri’s schedule for when they’re in Japan has not yet been precisely determined.

The question of which teams they face in friendly matches will naturally hinge on which other teams are in the country.

According to the Corriere, all of Bayern, City, and Atletico are set to be in Japan as well.

This means that the Nerazzurri could face any or all of the trio.

UCL Final Rematch Could Be On The Cards

Next month, Inter will face City with the Champions League at stake.

Whichever of the two teams lose could well have a bit of an opportunity for revenge.

The Corriere note that there is a real chance that Inter and City could meet in a friendly match over the summer.
