Having joined the Nerazzurri from Cagliari in the summer of 2019, Barella has now been with the club for four seasons.

In the current season, he has been more vital to Inter than ever.

Inter Star Nicolo Barella A Threat In Front Of Goal

This season, Barella has become more of a threat in the final third than ever before.

The 26-year-old has six goals scored and six assisted in the league alone. In all competitions, he has scored nine goals – his personal best, beating his final season at Cagliari.

However, goals and assists are just the tip of the iceberg for what Barella contributes to Inter.

This season, the 26-year-old has looked more relentless than ever in the midfield battle in virtually ever. He has seemingly covered every blade of grass from match to match.

Even when not at his absolute best, Barella has been a player who gives Inter a sturdy defensive presence and a constant outlet in possession.

Barella has been vital in Inter’s surprise run to the Champions League final. However, even just in the league, he has been outstanding.
