Inter Milan are keen to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos on a free transfer this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who confirm the report of Spanish broadcaster Cadena Cope that the 26-year-old is on the Nerazzurri’s radar as a potential free transfer opportunity.

Ceballos is currently only under contract at Real Madrid until the end of the current month.

The Spaniard, who joined Los Blancos from Real Betis in the summer of 2017, could leave on a free transfer. As of yet, there is no indication that Ceballos will extend his deal with the Spanish giants.

According to Spanish broadcaster Cadena Cope, Ceballos is indeed ready to leave to find a new club for next season.

The Corriere confirm that the Nerazzurri would be ready to make a move for the Spaniard.

Inter Keen On Real Madrid Star Dani Ceballos To Reinforce In Midfield

Inter are ready to make some changes in midfield this summer.

There is no doubt that Roberto Gagliardini will leave when his contract expires. Meanwhile, Marcelo Brozovic could also be sold this summer.

Accordingly, at least one or two midfielders will arrive this summer.

Ceballos is on Inter’s radar as a low-cost option to reinforce the midfield.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Ceballos will make a decision about his future at the end of the season. The same is true of another Inter target in the Spanish capital – veteran Real defender Nacho.

However, according to Cadena Cope, Ceballos has already made up his mind. He will leave Real when his contract runs out.

Ceballos has made 29 appearances for Real in the league this season, and seven in the Champions League.

The Spaniard also played for Arsenal on loan for two seasons. Ceballos was at the Gunners between 2019 and 2021.
