Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella has been named as the Serie A midfielder of the season.

The 26-year-old has beaten out the likes of Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Juventus’s Adrien Rabiot to take the honour.

Barella has crowned an impressively consistent and tireless league campaign with six goals and six assists. He has made a total of 36 appearances in Serie A.

Inter Milan took to Instagram to congratulate their midfield star Nicolo Barella on being given this honour.
