Inter Milan striker Francesco Pio Acerbi has praised the impact that Nerazzurri Primavera coach Christian Chivu has had on him.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, the 17-year-old Inter starlet opened up by the role that Chivu has had in his development.
This season, young Inter striker Esposito has enjoyed something of a breakout campaign. The teenager has been one of the outstanding players for the Nerazzurri’s Primavera team all season.
Now, Esposito is following up this form with his performances for his national side.
Esposito scored thee third goal for Italy in a 3-1 victory over Colombia at the Under-20 World Cup. He has been starring as a key player for the Azzurri all throughout that tournament.
This could not have come without the help of those around him at Inter.
Esposito, like his two older brothers Sebstiano and Salvatore, came through the youth ranks at the Nerazzurri. He is on the cusp of breaking out at the senior level now, seemingly.
However, young Francesco Pio is still putting the finishing touches on his development. And he is benefiting greatly from the coaching of legendary former Inter defender Chivu in the Primavera setup.
