Inter Milan could look to use a creative loan formula to sign back PSG wingback Achraf Hakimi this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Libero, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri could also reinvest a fee for Andre Onana in signing the Moroccan, should they sell the Chelsea-linked goalkeeper.

24-year-old Moroccan international wingback Hakimi reportedly wants a shock return to Inter.

The wingback made the move to Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window of 2021. However, he is reportedly unhappy in the Paris capital and dreaming of a return to the Nerazzurri.

And, Libero claim, Inter could have a strategy to make that move happen.

Inter CEO Marotta Aiming To Use Loan Formula To Get PSG Star Achraf Hakimi Back

There is little doubt that Hakimi would be a very costly signing for Inter.

PSG signing the Moroccan for a huge transfer fee in 2021, and would not want to sell him back for a cut-price fee just 24 months later.

However, Libero suggest, Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta could find a way to negotiate a deal with the Parisians.

The Inter executive is known for using loan arrangements, sometimes with very creative terms, to get players. This is how Inter brought back striker Romelu Lukaku just last summer.

Moreover, Libero report, Inter could decide to sell Onana to fund a move for Hakimi.

The Cameroonian is hardly a player who Inter want to deprive themselves of.

However, if Marotta could sacrifice Onana to make a move for Hakimi happen, he’d be willing to do so. Inter reportedly want €60 million for Chelsea target Onana.

When Hakimi joined PSG, he Nerazzurri had been essentially forced to sell the Moroccan due to financial constraints.

Hakimi’s time at Inter may have only lasted twelve months, but it was certainly not uneventful.

The wingback played a key role in the Nerazzurri winning the Serie A title during the 2020-21 season.

Hakimi made a total of 45 appearances for Inter across all competitions, scoring seven goals in the process.
