Inter Milan are ready to offer €2.5 million to sign young Danish international goalkeeper Theo Sander.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri believe that the 18-year-old who currently plays for Danish side Aalborg is a top talent for the future in his position.

Inter have already sent scouts to watch Sander in recent months. The Nerazzurri see the young Dane as a top prospect for the future.

Despite his young age, Sander has already broken into the first team of his club Aalborg.

The teenager has earned plaudits for his performance in the Danish Super League. In spite of this, however, Sander’s golakeeping has not been enough to prevent Aalborg from getting relegated into the Danish second division for next season.

Accordingly, Sander will almost certainly leave Aalborg during the summer transfer window.

And, according to the Gazzetta, Inter are pushing to get a deal over the line.

Inter Milan Betting On Denmark Golakeeping Prospect Theo Sander

Inter have a number of potential goalkeeping prospects for the future.

21-year-old Filip Stankovic, son of legendary former Nerazzurri midfielder Dejan, has been on loan at Volendam for two seasons. The Serb has been named as the Dutch club’s player of the season for the campaign just gone.

Meanwhile, young Brazilian Gabriel Brazao is also on Inter’s books.

The 22-year-old spent the second half of the season on loan with SPAL in Serie B. This followed the recovery from a knee injury that sidelined Brazao for a number of months.

Now, Inter are trying to add another young keeper to their ranks.

Should the Nerazzurri complete a deal to sign Sander, their plan for the 18-year-old is not immediately clear.

Certainly, Sander would not immediately become a part of the first team plans.

However, the young Dane could be part of the Primavera team, or go out on loan.
