Both of Bundesliga duo Wolfsburg and Union Berlin are keen to sign Inter Milan wingback Robin Gosens this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old former Atalanta man could be on his way to the German top flight this summer.
Transfer interest is starting to come in for Inter wingback Gosens for this summer.
Despite having only joined the Nerazzurri last January, he has been the subject of transfer rumours both last summer and the January window of the season just gone.
The former Atalanta has reportedly been targeted by all of Wolfsburg, Borussia Monchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
Despite having found more playing time at Inter in recent months, Gosens is still second-choice behind Federico Dimarco.
Accordingly, the Nerazzurri could very well listen to offers for the German.
Moreover, Gosens could decide to accept a move away in search of more regular playing time.
Wolfsburg & Union Berlin Both Want To Sign Inter Milan Star Robin Gosens
According to the Gazzetta, the interest in Gosens is starting to arise from the Bundesliga. Two clubs have made clear that they’re targeting the German.
One is Union Berlin. The club from the German capital are gearing up for a season in the Champions League. Accordingly, they’ll aim to reinforce their squad.
Meanwhile, the Gazetta reports, Wolfsburg have also asked for information about the 28-year-old. Despite not having European football for next season, they’re still keen to try and lure him away.
Inter Line Up Monza Breakout Star As Gosens Replacement
According to the Gazzetta, Inter already have a clear idea about who they’d like to sign to replace Gosens.
If the Nerazzurri do accept a bid for Gosens, they’ll go after Monza wingback Carlos Augusto.
The Gazzetta confirms recent reports that Inter have begun talks with the Brianzoli about a possible transfer.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed something of a breakout campaign in Serie A. He has scored six goals and made five assists during the season just gone.
