Joaquin Correa has rejected interest from Turkish giants Fenerbahce, and will only leave Inter Milan on one condition.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old only wants to leave the Nerazzurri if he is able to join another club in Serie A, and is not interested in making a move abroad.

Joaquin Correa has looked very likely to leave Inter during the summer transfer window.

Whilst the Argentine arrived from Lazio with big expectations attached during the summer of 2021, he has failed to make the expected impact in his two seasons at Inter.

Injuries have played a major role in limiting Correa’s contribution and form.

Accordingly, a departure looks to be on the cards for the 28-year-old. However, what is less certain is where his next club will be.

Joaquin Correa Turns Down Fenerbahce – Will Only Leave Inter On One Condition

Reportedly, interest in Correa’s signature has emerged from the Turkish Super Lig.

Fenerbahce in particular are keen on signing the former Lazio, Sevilla, and Sampdoria star.

The Istanbul-based giants are already on the verge of signing one Inter striker this summer. They are very close to completing a deal to sign Edin Dzeko on a free transfer.

However, they are not likely to gain as much traction in their pursuit of Correa.

According to FCIN, the 28-year-old has no desire to leave Italy or Serie A. The reason for this is that the player is getting married, and wants to leave with his new wife within Italy.

As such, Correa would be open to a move to an Italian team.

The Nerazzurri will therefore have to focus their search on a new club for the former Biancocelesti and Blucerchiati within Serie A. If they can find an Italian team interested in Correa, the forward would be fine with leaving.

However, otherwise he will want to stay at Inter.
