Fenerbahce are among the Turkish clubs interested in signing out-of-favour Inter Milan forward Joaquin Correa this summer.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reports in a tweet that teams from Turkey are among those to have shown an interest in signing the 28-year-old who looks set to leave the Nerazzurri, and that Fenerbahce are among them.

Joaquin Correa looks very likely to leave Inter during the summer transfer window.

Pedulla confirms this.

Whilst the Argentine arrived from Lazio with big expectations attached during the summer of 2021, he has failed to make the expected impact in his two seasons at Inter.

Injuries have played a major role in limiting Correa’s contribution and form.

Accordingly, a departure looks to be on the cards for the 28-year-old. However, what is less certain is where his next club will be.

Fenerbahce Keen On Inter Milan Forward Joaquin Correa

According to Pedulla, the Turkish league is a source of significant interest in Correa’s signature.

In particular he mentions Fenerbahce. The Istanbul giants have already reportedly offered one Inter striker a contract, in the form of Edin Dzeko.

However, they may not stop there.

Fenerbahce may aim to take advantage of Correa’s situation at Inter to sign the former Sevilla and Sampdoria man.

Italy Breakout Star Leads The Way In Inter’s List Of Targets To Replace Correa

With Correa expected to leave, Inter will have to sign a replacement to bolster their attack for next season.

According to Pedulla, Tigre and Italy striker Mateo Retegui is on the Nerazzurri’s radar for once Correa leaves.

The 23-year-old Azzurri man is not the only man who reports have linked with Inter as a replacement for Correa, however.

Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun is among the names linked. As is Hertha Berlin star Dodi Lukebakio.

What looks very clear, however, is that Correa will leave Inter before the start of next season.
