Romelu Lukaku is ready to put pressure on Chelsea to get moving in loan negotiations with Inter Milan this summer.
This according to Belgian news outlet HLN, via FCInterNews, who report that the 30-year-old Belgian international will meet with the Blues personally where he will make clear that he expects them to move towards an agreement with the Nerazzurri on a new loan deal.
Reportedly, Lukaku is annoyed that Chelsea are stalling in negotiations with Inter.
The Blues aren’t too keen to agree another low-cost loan move to the Nerazzurri.
For fairly obviously reasons, the Londoners would rather cash in with a permanent sale. As such, in the initial talks with Inter they haven’t given a green light to another loan to Inter, preferring to wait and see what other offers arrive.
However, the player concerned is of a different mind from his parent club. He wants Inter, and only Inter.
Given that Lukaku’s current loan expires at the end of this month, he wants the clubs to hurry up in talks.
The Belgian wants to have his future clarified soon, and for it to be at Inter. He has little intention of returning to Chelsea even temporarily.
No Deadline, But Romelu Lukaku Wants Chelsea To Agree New Inter Loan Soon
According to HLN, Lukaku hasn’t set any precise deadline.
However, the 30-year-old’s priority is for the negotiations between Inter and Chelsea to progress in a timely manner. He has no intention of sitting around without any certainty about his future as the talks between the clubs drag on all summer.
As such, Lukaku is prepared to hold a meeting with his parent club.
The Belgian will sit down with Chelsea directors and talk personally. Inter will not be a part of these talks.
Lukaku’s aim will be to push Chelsea to force through an agreement with the Nerazzurri.
