Inter Milan could still keep hold of Cagliari wingback Raoul Bellanova despite the interest of Torino in his signature.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are still in contact with the Rossoblu to see whether or not it will still be possible to sign Bellanova on a permanent basis despite the insistent pressure of the Granata.

22-year-old Cagliari wingback Bellanova sees his loan move at Inter expires at the end of the current month.

The Italy Under-21 international joined the Nerazzurri on a season-long loan move last summer. The Nerazzurri have the option to sign the player on a permanent basis for a fee of €7 million.

However, Inter reportedly aren’t keen to pay that full amount for Bellanova. The Nerazzurri have reportedly considered offering players going the other way to lower the fee.

However, Torino have also been pushing to sign the wingback.

Inter Milan Not Giving Up On Raoul Bellanova Despite Torino Pressure

Reports yesterday suggested that Torino are closing in on signing Bellanova.

The Piedmontese are reportedly prepared to pay the full €7 million that Cagliari are asking for. Moreover, they could offer add-ons to further sweeten the deal.

Torino reportedly met with the newly-promoted Sardinian club yesterday to try and work out a deal.

There is no doubt that the Granata are pushing to try and sign Bellanova.

However, according to SportItalia, they are not all the way there yet,

Moreover, Inter still haven’t given up hope. The broadcaster report that the Nerazzurri are still hoping to bring Bellanova in on a permanent basis this summer.

The 22-year-old found his playing time limited last time around. However, Inter still see him as having a bright future and would like to sign him permanently.

Accordingly, now the Nerazzurri are waiting to see whether they can get back into the mix and sign Bellanova ahead of Torino.
