Inter Milan could offer plays plush cash to Cagliari to sign wingback Raoul Bellanova on a permanent basis this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that while the Nerazzurri don’t want to pay the €7 million purchase option in Bellanova’s loan deal, they could have another strategy to sign him amid Torino interest.

Inter aren’t keen to pay the €7 million purchase option in the loan deal for Bellanova.

They would still like to bring him back next season, but for a discounted fee. The Nerazzurri have made this clear to Cagliari.

As such, Inter will have to negotiate a deal with the Rossoblu if they’re to sign Bellanova on a permanent basis.

Reports have suggested that the clubs could do so. However, Torino are aiming to swoop in and sign Bellanova.

The Granata are prepared to outlay a transfer fee of €7 million, equivalent to the purchase option in Inter’s loan deal, for Bellanova. Moreover, they would also offer €2 million in add-ons.

Reportedly, Torino are planning to meet with Cagliari today. They hope to move quickly and agree a deal with the newly-promoted Rossoblu to snap up Bellanova ahead of Inter.

Inter Milan Still Want To Sign Cagliari Starlet Bellanova

Inter have not given up on signing Bellenoava, however. They still expect that they can make an attempt to sign him permanently even without triggering the automatic purchase option in his loan deal.

According to the Gazzetta, the Nerazzurri’s plan is to offer players going the other way to Cagliari.

The newspaper does not go into any more detail to specify which players could be on the table.

However, considering that Cagliari are now back in Serie A, they could be keen on some young Nerazzurri players.

The Sardinians will certainly be aiming to strengthen their squad as they make the step up to the top flight.
