Romelu Lukaku is ready to travel to London to meet with Chelsea and push them towards another Inter Milan loan.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

At the moment, Lukaku is engaged with the Belgian national team. The Red Devils have one more EURO 2024 qualifier to go this international break, against Estonia.

However, once that is wrapped up, Lukaku will return from international duty.

The 30-year-old’s priority is to clarify his future at club level.

He has no doubts – Lukaku wants another season at Inter.

Romelu Lukaku To Urge Chelsea To Agree Another Inter Milan Loan

The Blues aren’t too keen to agree another low-cost loan move to the Nerazzurri.

For fairly obviously reasons, the Londoners would rather cash in with a permanent sale. As such, in the initial talks with Inter they haven’t given a green light to another loan to Inter, preferring to wait and see what other offers arrive.

However, the player concerned is of a different mind from his parent club. He wants Inter, and only Inter.

Therefore, the Belgian was annoyed as he felt that Chelsea tried to force through a move to the Saudi Pro League for him, against his wishes.

Moreover, Lukaku was annoyed that Chelsea put up an initial wall in their meeting with Inter. The Blues suggested a swap deal involving Nerazzurri midfielder Nicolo Barella rather than working with Inter on a new loan.

As far as Lukaku is concerned, Chelsea are not moving fast enough to agree another loan to Inter.

He expected that things would move quicker initially, rather than his parent club initially rejecting the Nerazzurri’s loan offer.

Accordingly, the player’s hope is that he can intervene personally and change the situation.

Lukaku plans to travel to London after he finishes his international duty. The Belgian will meet face to face with Chelsea directors.

Apart from his own intervention, Lukaku hopes that the positive relationship between Chelsea owner Todd Boehly and Roc Nation Sports International, who represent him, can also help push along a loan back to Inter.
