Arsenal and Man Utd have reportedly informed Inter Milan of their intention to launch offers for Nicolò Barella.

In recent weeks, the Nerazzurri turned out a bid from Newcastle United in the region of 70 million for the Italian international.

The Magpies instead turned to AC Milan star Sandro Tonali who’s on the verge of completing a switch to the mega-rich Premier League club.

Yet, FcInterNews believes it’s not over yet for Barella who could still make the trip across the English channel this summer.

As the report claims, both Arsenal and Man United are preparing upcoming onslaughts for Inter Milan’s Barella.

The source expects the Gunners to match the €100 million offer they presented to West Ham United for the services of England international Declan Rice.

So if the Nerazzurri were to receive enticing bids, the Italian giants and the Sardinian midfielder would surely sit at the table to discuss it.

Barella has been a key player for the Beneamata since making the switch from Cagliari back in 2019, cementing himself as one of the best box-to-box players in Europe.

He’s also an instrumental member of Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad, helping the Azzurri lift the Euro 2020.

Last season, the 26-year-old contributed with nine goals and 10 assists across all competitions. His current deal runs until 2026.

Barella is a fan favorite among Inter Milan supporters and a genuine candidate to inherit the captaincy. Therefore, his departure would be devastating for the fanbase.
