The agent of Porto midfielder Otavio says his client is happy at Porto, but leaves the door open for a potential transfer to Inter Milan.
As we reported earlier today, the Portugal international is on the Nerazzurri’s radar. His reported release clause would cost 40 million euros.
The versatile midfielder has been plying his trade at Porto since 2014. So while his agent revealed the player’s happiness at his current club, he suggested that he and his client would study a proposal from the Beneamata.
“Otavio has a contract with Porto and he’s happy here, he’s happy to play for the Dragoes,” said Israel Oliveira in an interview with Sportitalia via FcInterNews.

Nevertheless, the creative midfielder would contemplate a transfer to Appiano Gentile if the Serie A giants would come knocking on his door.
“Of course, if Inter really made an official bid, we would study this possibility and the hypothesis of playing for the Nerazzurri.
“My job is to bring the proposal to the player, then it will be up to him to eventually decide whether to accept it or not.”
So with the agent implicitly inviting Inter to make present Porto with an offer for Otavio, with shall see if the the Beneamata will make concrete attempts to sign the player.
