Inter Milan could offer Monza midfielder Stefano Sensi plus cash to sign wingback Carlos Augusto this summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews, who report that the Brianzoli have set the price tag for Augusto at €30 million, but that the Nerazzurri could try and sweeten a deal for the 24-year-old with the inclusion of midfielder Sensi.

Carlos Augusto has been one of the breakout stars of this Monza team in the season just gone.

August helped Monza achieve promotion to Serie A, and then shone in his first season in the top flight.

Augusto has been a key player for Monza particularly in attack. He has made 35 appearances in Serie A for Raffaele Palladino’s side.

In the process, the Brazilian has managed six goals and five assists.

However, whilst this form has made Inter keen on Augusto, it’s also raised his price tag.

According to DAZN, Monza are willing to sell Augusto this summer. The Brazilian’s value has reached the point where the Lombard club will cash in.

However, the Brazilian won’t come cheap. Monza aren’t inclined to accept offers less than €30 millio.

Inter Milan Could Offer Monza Sensi + Cash For Carlos Augusto

Inter could meet part of that fee by offering Stefano Sensi. The 27-year-old spent the season just gone on loan with the Brianzoli.

Sensi had something of a mixed campaign. On the one hand, an ankle injury saw him miss a number of weeks. This has become something of a theme for the former Sassuolo midfielder.

On the other hand, however, Sensi did have a role in the team when he was fit and available.

Sensi made 28 appearances for the Brianzoli last season in Serie A, scoring three goals in the process.

Accordingly, Inter are hoping that Monza will still aim to sign the midfielder on a permanent basis.

Sensi’s inclusion in a deal could lower the cash fee needed to sign Augusto. It remains to be seen how much, however.
