Cagliari are waiting for offers from Inter Milan and Torino to sign wingback Raoul Bellanova for next season.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who report that the Rossoblu expect the next few days to be decisive in determining where the 22-year-old will be playing his football next season.

Both of Inter and Torino want to sign Bellanova.

For the Nerazzurri, the aim is to sign the wingback on a permanent deal after having had him on loan last season. Inter had a purchase option in the loan deal, but they did not trigger it.

Therefore, Inter will have to make Cagliari a different offer if they’re to sign Bellanova on a permanent basis.

Meanwhile, Torino are also keen to sign the Italian Under-21 international.

The Granata are hoping that they can pip Inter to the post since the Nerazzurri have not triggered the purchase option in Bellanova’s loan deal.

Torino see Bellanova as an ideal signing for coach Ivan Juric’s 3-5-2 system.

Cagliari Waiting For Inter & Torino Offers For Raoul Bellanova

According to Mediaset, Cagliari have yet to receive any formal offers from either Inter or Torino. However, they do not expect that it will be too long before bids from both teams arrive.

Then, the Sardinian club will consider the two teams’ offers and decide which one to accept.

Reportedly, Inter are ready to try and offer players plus cash to try and convince Cagliari. Given that the Rossoblu have just been promoted to Serie A, they could be interested in reinforcing their squad with some youngsters from the Nerazzurri’s academy for the top flight.

Meanwhile, Torino are ready to offer the full €7 million that Inter had as a release clause, plus add-ons.

However, as of yet neither of the two clubs has made their offer to Cagliari. They are waiting and expecting bids to come in soon.

In the meantime, Bellanova is currently with Italy at the Under-21 World Cup.
