The agent of Spurs wingback Destiny Udogie believes that the young Italian could star for big Serie A clubs like Inter and Napoli.
Speaking to Italian news outlet Radio CrC, via FCInter1908, the 20-year-old’s agent Stefano Antonelli gave his thoughts on the player’s future.
20-year-old Italian international Udogie is currently headed back to his parent club Tottenham Hotspur.
The wingback has never actually appeared for the London-based club as of yet. The Lilywhites signed Udogie from Udinese last summer, but then sent him right back to the Friulani.
The then-teenager played one more season at the Dacia Arena in order to facilitate his growth.
Another season in a familiar environment was seen as the right way to allow Udogie to keep taking steps into the senior game.
However, now it looks as though Udogie will be back at his parent club for next season. The Italian international will have a role in the senior team going forward.

Udogie could well have stayed in Serie A, however.
The Udinese wingback’s form last season had attracted transfer interest from teams like Inter and Juventus. However, the price tag that the Friulani put on Udogie put him out of Italian clubs’ reach.
As such, it was Spurs who won the race for Udogie’s signature.
Now, it looks as though the 20-year-old will be tested in the Premier League. It could be a big step up for him to make, and there is the unknown of new Spurs coach Ange Postecoglou.
However, for his part, the player’s agent Antonelli has few doubts about his quality. Moreover, Antonelli believes that Udogie could very well have thrived at a big Serie A club.
The agent confirmed that “He’s going to Tottenham, who have changed their directors but have already expressed their opinion on the player.”
“He could very well have played for, for example, Napoli, or Inter or Roma.”
