Inter Milan want to get the talks to sell goalkeeper Andre Onana to Man United moving without haste.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who also report that the Nerazzurri would reject any offer of €40 million that comes in for the 27-year-old former Ajax man from United.

Man United have made clear that they want Onana.

Red Devils coach Erik Ten Hag has indicated a clear preference for a goalkeeper capable of playing the ball with his feet. This is more or less pushing current United Number One David De Gea out the door.

The Spanish international had agreed to sing a contract extension with the Red Devils.

However, United have reportedly pulled out of that deal. They now expect the 32-year-old to take an even larger wage cut if he is to stay.

Therefore, it seems clear that the Red Devils want to move for a goalkeeper.

And Inter’s Onana is the player who they want for the role.

Inter Don’t Want Man United To Dally In Andre Onana

United coach Erik Ten Hag would be a big sponsor for Onana at Inter.

The Dutch coach has worked with the Cameroonian whilst in charge of Ajax. He feels that the player would be perfect for the style of play he wants to implement.

Moreover, Onana’s talents were on full display in the Champions League during the season just gone.

Accordingly, Inter believe that a big offer from United would be on the way.

However, the Nerazzurri want everything to become clear over the next few days. They have made their stance clear – they will not be negotiated down to anything like the €40 million that United had reportedly hoped to pay.

Rather, Inter want the total value of the deal to be €60 million. This could included add-ons.

The Nerazzurri want United to hurry up and make clear whether they’re willing to pay that or not.
