Inter Milan plan to go after Davide Frattesi and Romelu Lukaku with fees for Marcelo Brozovic and Andre Onana.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who detailed the Nerazzurri’s strategy on air moments ago via FCInter1908, noting that they’ll only move for Frattesi and Lukaku under the right conditions.

Inter have completed their first big money sale of the summer – Marcelo Brozovic has departed to Al-Nassr for a fee of around €18 million.

That’s not all. Manchester United have reportedly made their first bid for Andre Onana.

The Nerazzurri have rejected the Red Devils’ opening offer of around €40 million. They are still holding out for a bare minimum of €50 million.

However, Di Marzio reports, Inter are still expecting United to try again with another offer. Should the Premier League giants improve their bid significantly, Inter would be willing to sell Onana.

If the Nerazzurri bring in fees for both Brozovic and Onana, this would be the bedrock of their incoming summer transfer business.

Inter Want Frattesi & Lukaku With Brozovic & Onana Transfer Fees

According to Di Marzio, Inter will aim to get two costly pieces of business over the line in particular if they can complete a sale of Onana over the line for a large enough fee.

First, there is Sassuolo midfielder Frattesi. Inter have been pursuing the 23-year-old Italian international for the better part of a month now.

However, they still haven’t gotten a deal done yet. This is both because the Neroverdi haven’t lowered the asking price, and Inter haven’t had cash on hand from sales.

Now Inter do have some money to work with in the form of the fee for Brozovic. This will allow them to move forward in talks for Frattesi.

However, Di Marzio reports, the Nerazzurri won’t get drawn into a bidding war for the 23-year-old.

If the price tag goes too high, Inter will pursue other targets.

Meanwhile, Inter want to finally wrap up the signing of Romelu Lukaku back from Chelsea.

They will likely need to make an offer of a loan deal containing a purchase obligation that’s acceptable to the Blues.

Having fees from both Brozovic and Onana could make it possible for Inter to finally move ahead.
