Marcelo Brozovic has said his goodbye to Inter Milan fans after making the switch to Al-Nassr.

Posting on his Instagram account after his departure from the club became official, the 30-year-old thanked the Nerazzurri supporters for all the memories over nearly a decade spent at the San Siro.

Now it’s official – Marcelo Brozovic is no longer an Inter player.

The Croat ended his tenure at the club, which began in January of 2015, by moving to Al-Nassr.

This brings to an end the Inter career of one of the club’s longest-serving stalwarts. Brozovic’s time at the club culminated in his appearance in the Champions League final, but passed through plenty of memorable moments.

The Croat was a key player as Inter won the Serie A title in the 2020-21 season. Then, he was also at the heart of the Nerazzurri’s two Coppa Italia triumphs in his two final campaigns at the club.

Just as important as these trophies, however, was the moments and memories that Brozovic shared with the Inter faithful.

The Croatian international established himself as a fan favourite for his hard-running style of play and dedication to the shirt. And for his part, he feels that the feeling is mutual.

Brozovic has made clear that, even though he has left, Inter fans have very much endeared themselves to him.

“You’re unique, special,” he writes of the Nerazzurri supporters. “I’ll carry you in my heart.”

“No one deserves more than you to always win.”

“Thanks for all of the incredible things you’ve made me feel over these eight incredible years!”

Brozovic then signs off with “Yours,” and a crocodile emoji as a wink to his nickname.
