Shakhtar Donetsk Sporting Director Darijo Srna believes that Inter Milan target Anatoliy Trubin is ready to make the move to a big club.

Speaking to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, the Ukrainian club’s executive also made clear that the 21-year-old will only leave for the right price.

Young Shakhtar and Ukraine keeper Trubin looks to be one of Inter’s main targets to replace Andre Onana if the Cameroonian leaves to join Manchester United this summer.

Even despite his tender age, Trubin has had an impressive couple of breakout seasons. So much so that Inter see the Ukrainian as a potential keeper for their future.

And for his part, Shakhtar Sporting Director Srna believes that the young keeper is ready.

Srna Believes Inter Milan Target Anatoliy Trubin Ready For A Big Move

“Right now he’s one of the best goalkeepers in Europe,” Srna said.

“He’s only 21, he’s young, but he’s already played seventeen matches in Champions League. He has experience. He’s ready for a big club.”

The Shakhtar executive gave the view that “Trubin is ready for Italy, but also for England or France.”

“He’s the goalkeeper for the future.”

“There have been many offers for him and we’re in talks with several clubs,” Srna said. “But everyone has to understand one thing. If he leaves Shakhtar Donetsk, he will go in a big club for a big fee.”

“The same as it was with Mudryk, and the same as it will be for Sudakov, Bondarenko, or Matvienko in the future.”

“We’re not asking for a specific price,” Srna continued. “Whoever wants to sign him will have to offer an amount, and then we’ll decide whether it’s enough or not.”

As for Trubin’s strong suit, the Shakhtar Sporting Director said that “Everybody mentions his technique and how he’s good with his feet.”

“In the modern game, goalkeepers have to be able to participate in the possession phase like an old Libero,” he added. “And he’s capable of that.”
