Andre Onana should leave Inter Milan and become a Man United player within the next few days.
This according to UK journalist Sam Pilger, who reported in a tweet that the deal between the Nerazzurri and the Red Devils should be wrapped up soon, and that it is not long before the Cameroonian makes the switch.
Manchester United have had a couple offers for Onana rejected, but that’s not slowing them down.
The Premier League giants are ready to raise their bid for Onana very soon according to reports.
United are now getting very close to meeting the Nerazzurri’s valuation.
Inter have been asking for €60 million. Nevertheless, they will not necessarily hold out for this full amount.
If United get above €50 million, Inter will certainly sit at the negotiating table. The sense is that all parties want to make a move happen soon.
Accordingly, the talks are moving very quickly, and barring late surprises it looks as though Onana will join Inter.
Only A Matter Of Days Before Andre Onana Joins Man United
There is still work for Inter and United to do before a deal can happen.
There is, as of yet, no agreement between the clubs. However, the sense is now that this is more a matter of when rather than if.
The coming days should see another United offer. Then, the two clubs will continue negotiations.
Reports suggest that the gap remaining between Inter’s asking price and United’s offer won’t be hard to make up.
Journalist Pilger further confirms this. He tweeted that “Andre Onana will be confirmed as a Manchester United player within days.”
Meanwhile, Inter have their plan to replace Onana in goal all ready.
Reportedly, the Nerazzurri are moving swiftly to sign 21-year-old Ukrainian international goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin from Shakhtar Donetsk. They already have an agreement with the player on a five-year deal.
