Inter Milan and Man United should agree a deal for goalkeeper Andre Onana this week.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Red Devils are prepared to raise their offer above €50 million, and that the two clubs could seal the deal as early as Tuesday or Wednesday.

Manchester United have now made two offers to Inter for Onana.

After having a bid worth €45 million including add-ons turned down, the Premier League giants returned right away with a new offer. Their second bid was for €50 million.

According to the Gazzetta this was still not enough. Inter have yet to accept a bid from the Red Devils.

However, the Premier League giants are now getting very close to meeting the Nerazzurri’s valuation.

Inter have been asking for €60 million. Nevertheless, they will not necessarily hold out for this full amount.

Rather, the Gazzetta report, the Nerazzurri should be satisfied with an offer that goes above €50 million. So far, United have offered that amount with all add-ons included. However, the Red Devils’ next bid could be for €50 million plus significant add-ons.

Inter Milan & Man United Not Far Away From Agreeing Andre Onana Deal

The Gazzetta notes that United already have the agreement of the player concerned. The English team have met with Onana and his representatives and gotten the green light.

Now, the two clubs will have to follow suit.

And they are not far away from doing so, reports that Gazzetta.

Both Inter and United want to push ahead quickly towards shaking hands on a deal.

United want Onana at the disposal of their coach Erik Ten Hag for the start of their preseason.

And Inter, for their part, want to complete the big money sale, and move for Onana’s replacement, Shakhtar Donetsk starlet Anatoliy Trubin.

Accordingly, the next raise by United should be all-important.

With the Red Devils getting ready to go beyond €50 million in their offer, they’re not far away at all from getting a deal over the line.

The Gazzetta name Tuesday and Wednesday as prospective dates that Onana could become a United player.
