Inter Milan are awaiting an offer from Man United for goalkeeper Andre Onana.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who report that the 27-year-old has already agreed a five-year deal with the Red Devils, and that now everything will come down to their offer to the Nerazzurri later today.

Earlier today, Mediaset report that Onana’s representatives met with United.

The Red Devils made their contract offer to the Cameroonian. According to Mediaset, United have put a five-year deal worth close to €7 million net per season.

This is enough for Onana, who is ready to make the transfer. He has accepted the Premier League giants’ proposal.

However, there is still the matter of making Inter a new offer for United to get on with.

That may not be far away, however. Mediaset report that United will likely table a new bid this afternoon.

Inter Milan Waiting For New Man United Offer For Andre Onana

As things stand, Onana is still an Inter player. However, both clubs want to move fast on a deal at this stage.

With both Inter and Manchester United just a few days away from kicking off their respective preseasons, both clubs want to move fast on a deal for the Cameroonian former Ajax star.

Both clubs are anxious to get things over on the deal. Inter don’t want to have Onana play any part in their preseason if they know that he’ll be a United player next season.

And for their part, the Red Devils don’t want to wait much longer to put the Cameroonian at the disposal of their coach Erik ten Hag.

As such, United are ready to make their next offer soon.

The Premier League giants have faced rejection on a couple offers so far, but they’re ready to go higher right away.

According to Mediaset, Inter are now anticipating a new bid that is very close to their €60 million asking price.
