Inter Milan and Man United should wrap up a deal for the transfer of goalkeeper Andre Onana this Wednesday.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri and the Red Devils have set Wednesday as the date for the decisive meeting in which to finalize the 27-year-old’s move to Old Trafford.

As things stand, Onana is still an Inter player.

However, he may not be for much longer.

With both Inter and Manchester United just a few days away from kicking off their respective preseasons, both clubs want to move fast on a deal for the Cameroonian former Ajax star.

Both clubs are anxious to get things over on the deal. Inter don’t want to have Onana play any part in their preseason if they know that he’ll be a United player next season.

And for their part, the Red Devils don’t want to wait much longer to put the Cameroonian at the disposal of their coach Erik ten Hag.

Everyone involved, Onana included, is now pushing in the same direction. If a deal is going to happen, it has to happen soon.

Wednesday The Decisive Day For Inter Milan & Man United To Wrap Up Onana Talks

Onana’s agents have already met with representatives of United.

They’ve worked out a contract for the former Ajax keeper to join on a five-year deal.

That just leaves Inter and United to work out a deal.

So far, the Red Devils have not made a large enough offer for Inter to accept their bid.

However, this should change very soon. United are now plotting the offer that they fully expect to be the last one necessary to seal the deal.

According to La Repubblic, the two clubs will meet later this week. And that round of talks should be the one that finally sees the transfer saga end with Onana wearing a United shirt.
