Premier League clubs have made offers to sign Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin, but the player only wants Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

A deal between Inter and Manchester United to sell Andre Onana now looks close at hand. Inter have identified Trubin as their main target to replace the Cameroonian.

The Nerazzurri reportedly have a personal agreement in place with the player concerned.

The Ukrainian international is ready to sign a five-year contract to join Inter.

However, the Nerazzurri have yet to find anything close to an agreement with Shakhtar.

Tuttosport note that the Nerazzurri are hoping to get a deal done on the basis of a very low fee. Their offer is around €10 million.

Inter feel that they can use Trubin’s contract situation as leverage. The 21-year-old Ukrainian international’s current deal runs out at the end of June of next year. That would make this summer Shakhtar’s last opportunity to cash in.

However, Tuttosport report, the Ukrainians are of a different mind.

Shakhtar are reportedly still holding out for a fee of €35 million for their keeper, reports the Turin-based paper.

Premier League Clubs Want To Join Inter In The Race To Sign Trubin

According to Tuttosport, Inter are not the only team interested in signing Trubin.

They report that there are teams in the Premier League who have made offers to sign the 21-year-old.

The newspaper does not name the interested teams, however.

In any event, Trubin’s priority is to join Inter.

The young Ukrainian international has already agreed terms with the Nerazzurri. He is not interested in snubbing Inter for any of the offers that have come his way from the Engish top flight.

Therefore, it may come down to negotiations between Inter and Shakhtar. Right now the clubs are far apart, but may feel that they have to work together.
