Man United will pay Inter Milan around €55 million to sign Andre Onana including all add-ons.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri would be prepared to accept an offer of this size so long as the fixed amount goes beyond €50 million.

Yesteday, Onana’s reportedly representatives met with United.

The purpose of the meeting was to iron out a contract agreement with the Cameroonian. According to reports, they accomplished exactly that, with Onana prepared to make the switch to Old Trafford for next season.

Now the Red Devils will reportedly make their offer to Inter very soon.

For United’s part, they don’t want to hold up the deal any longer.

The Premier League giants want to make sure that Onana is available to coach Erik Ten Hag in the coming days. They want to make absolutely sure that they sign the 27-year-old in time for him to be part of their upcoming preseason tour of the US.

Man United Prepare To Make Decisive Offer To Inter Milan For Andre Onana

United’s intention is for their next offer to Inter to be sufficient. They want to immediately secure the go-ahead from the Nerazzurri so that the transfer can go through in the next two or three days.

Accordingly, the Red Devils have come up with what they think is the right amount. Based on negotiations, their intention is to offer a deal worth around €55 million in total.

United’s initial bid was around €45 million, which Inter rejected out of hand. The Nerazzurri were holding out for €60 million.

Then, the Red Devils came up with an offer of around €50 million, with the inclusion of all add-ons.

This was still not enough for Inter.

However, United’s offer will exceed €50 million. With a number of very easily-achievable add-ons, it should reach €55 million.

According to the Corriere, this is what United will pay in the end to wrap up a deal for Onana.
