Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku still hasn’t closed the door to Juventus despite the strong links to Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who continue to insist that the Bianconeri are in the hunt for the 30-year-old Belgian international, especially now that he wants to sort out his future without haste.

Talks between Inter and Chelsea are reportedly heating up.

The Nerazzurri have reportedly made yet another offer, which has brought them closer than ever to Chelsea’s valuation.

On the other hand, the Corriere reports, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t any interest in Lukaku parallel to Inter’s. On the contrary, the Rome-based newspaper continues to emphasize Juventus’s bid for the Belgian.

For the Corriere, in fact, the Bianconeri are a viable option. The newspaper argues that everything could come down to whether Inter sell Andre Onana or Juventus sell Dusan Vlahovic first.

In this sense, the Nerazzurri do lead the race. They look on the verge of selling the Cameroonian to Manchester United, which would give them the cash on hand to finally fund the decisive move for Onana.

Romelu Lukaku In A Hurry & Hasn’t Yet Rejected Juventus

The Corriere continue in their path of going against the grain regarding Lukaku’s situation.

Whilst virtually all other reporting on the Belgian has reached the consensus that the 30-year-old only wants Inter, the Corriere is of the view that his patience with the Nerazzurri could run out.

For the Rome-based newspaper, Lukaku’s priority has simply become sorting out his future as soon as possible. Whether that means joining Inter or another club.

The Corriere suggest that Lukaku’s patience is not infinite. He has waited for some weeks now as Inter have tried and failed to get things over the line with Chelsea.

Therefore, they suggest, every day that goes by without Inter and Chelsea making a deal, a bit more of Lukaku’s patience runs out.

And, the Corriere continue to insist, Lukaku sees Juventus as a viable option. Therefore, if Inter continue to dawdle in talks with Chelsea, he’ll consider the Bianconeri.
