Inter Milan are ready to sell ex-Atalanta wingback Robin Gosens and go after Monza’s Carlos Augusto.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri would seel the 28-year-old if an offer of €18 million comes along.

Inter are listening to offers for Gosens this summer.

The German has never quite hit the ground running following his move from Atalanta last January. Upon his arrival, Gosens was behind Ivan Perisic in the pecking order. Then, last season, Federico Dimarco inherited the first-choice role from Perisic rather than Gosens.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri would reportedly not be opposed to selling Gosens, for the right price.

Bundesliga duo Wolfsburg and Union Berlin have reportedly been moving towards trying to sign the former Atalanta star.

Meanwhile, Premier League duo Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest are reportedly also thinking about a move.

However, the key aspect will be whether or not a bid of sufficient size arrives. Inter are not going to sell Gosens for anything that they feel is a cut-price fee.

Inter Milan Want €18M For Robin Gosens

Inter have decided on €18 million as a fee that they’ll accept for Gosens.

This is quite a bit less than the nearly €30 million that the Nerazzurri paid to sign the German from Atalanta last January. However, Inter are prepared to take a loss, considering that Gosens has never really cemented himself as first-choice.

Inter are not ready to drop below €18 million in terms of an asking price, however.

Wolfsburg have made an initial offer worth around €14 million. The Germans have also agreed personal terms with Gosens on a five-year deal.

The 28-year-old wants playing time ahead of the Euros next summer as his priority.

According to Tuttosport, however, Inter are not willing to expect Wolfsburg’s current bid.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri would look to immediately reinvest a fee for Gosens in a move for Monza’s Carlos Augusto as a like-for-like replacement.
