Inter Milan are ready to wrap up the sale of goalkeeper Andre Onana to Man United on Monday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that everything is ready for the Cameroonian’s move to Old Trafford to become official at the start of next week.

As of yet, nothing is official – Onana is still an Inter player.

However, the clock is now ticking. It should not be long at all before the Cameroonian formally makes the switch to Old Trafford.

The two clubs have been working in talks for the past few days to finalize their agreement.

Thursday evening saw a conference call between representatives of the two clubs to iron out a final agreement. That did not quite result in the decisive handshake.

Moreover, Inter are also dealing with the major distraction that is the Romelu Lukaku situation.

However, none of this changes the fact that both Inter and United want to get the deal done. The two clubs want to reach the decisive agreements in time to move on with their respective plans.

United want their new goalkeeper at the disposal of coach Erik ten Hag ASAP, and on their preseaon tour of the US. And Inter want to move forward with their other transfer plans.

Inter Milan To Sell Andre Onana To Man United For €50M + Add-Ons

Sky confirm what has looked to be the case for a couple of weeks now.

They report that Inter are ready to accept a fee of around €50 million plus add-ons. That is what United are putting on the plate.

Therefore, it is only a matter of “when” rather than “if” Onana makes the move.

And according to Sky, there is a precise “when.”

Monday will be the day for the transfer saga to end – Onana will become a Manchester United player.
