Porto have slapped a price tag of €25 million on Inter Milan & AC Milan-linked striker Mehdi Taremi for this summer window.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the Portuguese giants would consider a sale of the 30-year-old Iranian international as the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri both think about a move.

Taremi, who joined Porto from Rio Ave in the summer of 2020, sees his contract run out at the end of next June.

Therefore, the Portuguese club would be willing to listen to offers for the Iranian.

Taremi had an outstanding campaign last season, scoring 31 goals in 51 appearances for Porto.

And, Di Marzio notes, there is interest in signing Taremi from two of Serie A’s heavy hitters.

Porto Name Asking Price A Inter & AC Milan Ready To Go After Mehdi Taremi

First, there’s Inter. Everything is now over between Inter and Lukaku.

After weeks of trying to get a deal done with Chelsea for the Belgian, the Nerazzurri have pulled the plug. The fact that Lukaku decided to negotiate with Juventus has meant that Inter will completely reject the possibility of bringing him back.

This means that the Nerazzurri now must consider alternatives to the 30-year-old.

Now, the Nerazzurri will have to consider their next move with Lukaku off the table.

And according to Di Marzio, Inter see Porto striker Taremi as a serious target in lieu of the Belgian.

Meanwhile, Di Marzio reports, the Nerazzurri’s city rivals AC Milan are also thinking about a move for Taremi.

The Rossoneri have yet to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their squad. The 30-year-old Porto striker is one of their targets to do so.

In any event, Porto have indicated the size of an offer that it will take to land Taremi. They want at least €25 million, reports Di Marzio.
