Cagliari are just wrapping up the last details of the loan deal with Inter. It will be a one-season loan deal and the Sardinians will have a purchase option worth €4 million. Inter will have a buyback clause.

Then the player is all ready to complete his move to the newly-promoted side. He’s agreed his contract already.

The 20-year-old will follow goalkeeper Simone Scuffet from Cluj, and former Sampdoria, Udinese, and Ascoli midfielder Jakub Jankto from Getafe as the Rossoblu’s latest signing for life in the top flight.

This will be an important next step for Oristanio, who had spent the previous two seasons in the Netherlands with Volendam.

The 20-year-old helped Volendam reach promotion to the Eredivisie, and then stay in the top flight.

Now it is back to Italy for the Inter-owned midfielder. He will hope to also keep Cagliari in the top flight.

The Gazzetta anticipates that Rossoblu coach Claudio Ranieri will use Oristanio as a wide midfielder in a 4-4-2 system.
