Juan Cuadrado could already begin his medicals on a move to Inter Milan as early as this evening after he arrives in Milan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the 35-year-old Colombian international will arrive in Milan early this evening, and that a start to his medical examinations ahead of a free transfer cannot be ruled out.

Inter are moving fast in their pursuit of Cuadrado.

Whilst reports of the Nerazzurri’s interest in signing the Colombian only emerged a couple days ago, they revealed a chase that’s already quite far along.

Cuadrado left Juventus at the end of his contract which expired at the end of last month.

The Nerazzurri have been in talks with the 35-year-old and his representatives. He is keen on the move, whilst Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi is reportedly very keen on the ex-Bianconeri man’s quality and extensive Serie A experience.

Juan Cuadrado Could Already Start Inter Milan Medicals This Evening

Now, it’s only a matter of time before Cuadrado completes his transfer to Inter.

The Colombian has been enjoying his holiday in his home country since the end of the season with Juventus.

But now, he is flying back to Italy. He will arrive sometime this evening, with Sky reporting that the former Fiorentina and Chelsea star’s flight from Colombia will touch down at around 18.00 CET.

Therefore, there is a good chance that Cuadrado will already be ready to start his medicals as early as this evening.

There will not likely be enough time for the entire process to wrap up.

However, if Cuadrado does undergo the first part of his medicals already, that would be a big step. The 35-year-old can very quickly wrap up the final details, and then put pen to paper on his new one-year contract.
