Inter Milan have sold young Swiss starlet Darian Males to Young Boys as they continue to trim their squad.

The 22-year-old has been on the club’s books since 2020 when they bought him from FC Luzern.

Afterwards, the Nerazzurri immediately sent the young player on loan to Genoa and he’s been embarking on temporary switches ever since. He never earned the chance to prove his worth with the club’s senior squad.

The attacking midfielder spent the last two campaigns at FC Basel. But he will now join their rivals in the Swiss Pro League.

So how much did the Beneamata earn from offloading the youngster?

According to Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews, Inter Milan have received 2 million euros by selling Males to Young Boys. Moreover, the Italians will earn 20% cut from a future resale.

Males primarily plays as an attacking midfielder but can also feature on the wings or even as a centre forward.

The Swiss has now signed a four-year contract with Young Boys.
