Inter Milan will reportedly resort to Beto and Folarin Balogun as they fail to register significant progress in their attempts to sign Alvaro Morata.

As we reported earlier today, the Nerazzurri can’t find an accord with Atletico Madrid over the Spaniard’s transfer. There remains a comprehensive gap between the asking price and the offered fee.

According to Corriere della Sera via FcInterNews, Inter isn’t the only Serie A club struggling in their advances to sign Morata.

As the source explains, Juventus are also unable to lure the 30-year-old for a third spell in Turin. The same goes for Roma.

The report claims that the player’s agent was optimistic over a return to Italy. However, it appears that Atletico aren’t willing to keep their word and sell Morata for 12 million euros (as per a gentleman’s agreement).

Inter Milan Will Turn Their Attention To Beto And Folarin As Talks For Alvaro Morata Have Stalled

Therefore, the Italian trio may have to fish elsewhere as they all seek new strikers this summer. Concerning Inter, the management has already lined up two possible replacements.

The first is Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun. The 22-year-old is coming off a spectacular season on loan at Stade Reims.

The USMNT star has a contract with the Gunners that runs until the summer of 2025.

The alternative is 26-year-old Portuguese striker Beto who has been plying his trade at Udinese since 2021. The striker’s contract with the Zebrette expires in 2026.
