Shakhtar Donetsk directors have reportedly landed in Milano for crunch talks with Inter Milan regarding the future of Anatoliy Trubin.

The 21-year-old is one of the most promising young goalkeepers in Europe. He is a Shakhtar youth product who rose through the club’s ranks to become the first choice.

The up-and-coming custodian has also cemented himself as the Number One in the Ukrainian national team.

So according to Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Nerazzurri are in a race against time as they hope to sign at least one new goalkeeper before taking the flight to Japan.

Inter will embark on a pre-season tour in the Far East. They will take on Al-Nassr and Paris Saint-Germain on July 27 and August 1 respectively.

Shakhtar Donetsk Directors Are In Milano For Crunch Talks With Inter Milan Over The Transfer Of Anatoliy Trubin

The Nerazzurri are on the verge of selling André Onana to Man United for around 52.5 million euros (plus 5M as bonuses). Samir Handanovic had already left after seeing out his contract.

This leaves Inter manager Simone Inzaghi with only Filip Stankovic and new signing Raffaele Di Gennaro at his disposal.

Therefore, the management is desperate to add a top-notch goalkeeper to the fold as soon as possible.

At the moment, Bayern Munich veteran Yann Sommer is the closest to join the club. However, the Italian giants would also like to add Trubin to the squad.

So we shall if Inter and Shakhtar would be able to make significant progress in their upcoming talks.
