Inter Milan will sell wingback Robin Gosens to Wolfsburg this summer, but only if the Bundesliga club meet their asking price.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that it would take an offer of €18 million for the Nerazzurri to decide to sell the 28-year-old.

Gosens is current a player whose future looks up in the air.

Last season, the former Atalanta man never really nailed down a starting place for himself at Inter.

Towards the final months of the campaign, Gosens did regularly start matches, alternating with Federico Dimarco on the left. However, in the most important matches it was virtually always the Italian who got the nod.

For Gosens, playing time will be the priority for next season. The German wants to stake his claim with the German national team.

At the World Cup, Gosens missed out from Die Mannschaft’s squad. This came after he had been behind Dimarco, and before that, Ivan Perisic in the pecking order at Inter.

Reportedly, the German could be willing to stay at Inter. But only if he is to play regularly. Otherwise, a move to the Bundesliga could be on the card for the 28-year-old.

Wolfsburg are keen on the former Atalanta wingback, whereas Union Berlin have put the brakes on their pursuit.

Inter Milan Would Sell Robin Gosens To Wolfsburg – But Only For The Right Price

Gosens has reportedly already agreed terms with Wolfsburg.

He would be willing to make the switch if it means more playing time. The Germans have convinced him in terms of their sporting project.

But there will be no deal if Inter don’t get their asking price.

The Nerazzurri have been very clear with Wolfsburg – they want €18 million for Gosens.

That is less than Inter paid Atalanta for the player last January. But they don’t want to take too much of a loss.

So far, Wolfsburg have not made an offer of that size.

And, the Corriere reports, Inter continue to be ready to sign Carlos Augusto from Monza if Gosens departs.
