Chelsea and former Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku is pushing to join Juventus this summer.
This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported live on air via FCInter1908 that the Belgian will turn down the offer of Al-Hilal and that he only wants the Bianconeri.
Right now Lukaku is a player whose future hangs very much in the balance.
Barring a surprise change of heart by Inter, there will be no move back to the Nerazzurri for the 30-year-old.
Inter spent several weeks trying to hammer out a deal with Chelsea, seeming to come very close to the finish line in talks. But then, the Nerazzurri’s discovery that Lukaku had been negotiating with Juventus in tandem caused them to pull the plug angrily and abruptly.
So the Bianconeri would seem to be a logical enough destination for Lukaku.
However, there remains the fact that Juventus must offload Dusan Vlahovic before they can sign the Belgian.
Romelu Lukaku Wants Juventus – No Interest In Al-Hilal
But according to Pedulla, the Belgian will insist on Juventus.
The SportItalia transfer expert expects that Lukaku will hold out for the move to happen. He is waiting for the Turn giants to offload Vlahovic for a big fee and then find an agreement with Chelsea.
There is always Al-Hilal.
The Saudi Pro League club would reportedly offer Chelsea a significant fee, and Lukaku even more in wages.
Naturally, this is the Blues’ preferred option. They want to finally sort out Lukaku’s future as soon as possible, and of course for the highest fee they can get.
But just as Lukaku had rejected Al-Hilal when an Inter move looked on the cards, he will reject them for Juventus.
Pedulla reports that the 30-year-old wants to stay in Europe, and believes that the Bianconeri are his next step.
