The release clause in the contract between Roma and Inter Milan, Chelsea, and Saudi Pro League target Paulo Dybala will expire at the end of this month.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 29-year-old has decided to commit his future to the Giallorossi as his release clause reaches its expiry.

Dybala joined Roma last summer on a free transfer, but there is already some interest in the Argentine’s signature.

Inter are among the clubs to have reportedly come forward. The Nerazzurri had been heavily linked throughout last summer, but failed to seal a deal, and the player moved to Roma instead.

However, reportedly Inter contacted Dybala’s representatives this summer to see if a move is possible.

The Nerazzurri are still working to make at least one attacking signing before the end of the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have also shown an interest in signing Dybala.

And clubs from the Saudi Pro League have also come forward. Teams from the gulf state have been spending big on players from European football this summer, and tested the waters for Dybala.

Release Clause Of Inter Milan, Roma & Saudi Pro League Target Paulo Dybala On The Brink Of Expiring

A key factor that could have made Dybala an attainable target was the presence of a release clause in his contract.

Reports suggested that the clause was worth €12 million for teams outside Serie A.

For teams within the Italian top flight, the amount would have been higher – €20 million.

In any event, the Gazzetta reports, that clause expires at the end of this month.

Therefore, the window for teams to make a move for Dybala is starting to close.

And, according to the Gazzetta, the player himself has little intention of leaving the Italian capital.

Dybala wants to stay at Roma and build on last season.
