Inter Milan have scheduled a friendly match to take place against Albanian team Egnatia for Sunday, August 13.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri have added the match to their calendar and that it will take place in Ferrara.

Inter’s preseason is now well underway.

The season itself is not too far away either – the Nerazzurri’s Serie A opener against Monza takes place in less than three weeks.

However, before then, Inter still have a few more friendly matches in which to sharpen up for the season proper.

The Nerazzurri are currently in Japan where their preseason tour is ongoing.

There, Inter have already faced Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr in a friendly match.

Then, on Tuesday, the Nerazzurri will face Paris Saint-Germain in the second and final friendly match of their Japan tour.

After that, Inter will return to Milan where they will continue to put the finishing touches on their preparations in training.

Inter Milan Add Egnatia Friendly To Preseason Calendar

Among the friendly matches that Inter will play before their season begins is a match against Red Bull Salzburg.

The Austrian champions had already been Inter’s friendly opponents in a match during their training camp in Malta during the World Cup break.

That friendly match will take place on August 9.

Then, the Nerazzurri have agreed a date with Albanian side Egnatia. The Albanians are out of the Eruopa Conference League qualifying rounds after elimination at the hands of Ararat-Armenia.

Therefore, Egnatia are looking for a chance to keep their match-sharpness up on the pitch.

With Inter in a similar situation, the two sides will face off just a week before Inter begin the Serie A season.
