Barcelona could rival Inter Milan for the signature of Alexis Sanchez if PSG target Ousmane Demebele leves the club.
This according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, via FCInterNews, who report that the Blaugranas could decide to try and bring th3 34-year-old back on a free transfer as they consider a replacement for French international Dembele.
Sanchez is a player in search of a new club for next season.
The Chilean joined Marseille last summer.
He did so after having left the Nerazzuri, via a termination of his contract by mutual consent.
Now Inter are reportedly considering a surprise move back for Sanchez. Reportedly, a departure of Joaquin Correa could open the door for the former Arsenal and Manchester United man to come back to the San Siro.
But according to MD, there could be another club from Sanchez’s past, albeit less recently, who decide to bring him back,.

Barcelona are another of Sanchez’s former teams.
The Chilean spent a total of three seasons playing for the Blaugranas, as he had done for Inter.
Sanchez moved to the Camp Nou in the summer of 2011 from Udinese. Then, in 2014, he left for Arsenal.
Sanchez made a total of 141 appearances for the Blaugranas.
However, nine years after he first departed from La Liga, Sanchez could be in for a return to Barcelona.
According to MD, the Blaugranas are eyeing the veteran forward up as a possible replacement for Ousmane Dembele.
Dembele is a target for Paris Saint-Germain. The French champions are working to get a deal over the line soon.
If Dembele were to be on his way, the Blaugranas would seek a stylistically similar replacement.
And that replacement could well be Sanchez, although they may have to beat Inter to his signature.
